Will you take my old appliance away?

We provide an additional service to take your old appliance away for you at the same time as delivering your new one.  There is a small charge for this service to cover transportation costs and no charge is made for the disposal of your old appliance.  For your peace of mind, all appliances removed are subject to recycling and disposal processes in full compliance with the WEEE directive.

Can someone sign for the Delivery on my behalf?

The simple answer to that would be, yes. However, you must be aware that anyone who signs on your behalf takes full responsibility of accepting the order and the exact rules apply as if you had signed for it yourself.

What about Delivery?
We deliver nationwide and delivery is generally free for small items and £19.95 for all other items with the exception of range cookers and US style fridge freezers.  Delivery charge for these large items starts from as little as £40.  We use a combination of our own vehicles and drivers supported by third party logistics providers to undertake our deliveries.  We use this approach to keep down the cost of delivery. Our standard delivery service means your product(s) can take up to 10 working days to be delivered.  Usually it is much quicker than this.  However, should you need a more urgent delivery then please select our express delivery service (subject to availability).  For a small additional charge delivery will be made within 3 working days.  Please note all deliveries will be made to the doorstep.

What if I receive my product damaged?

For Graded and Ex-display Items: If your inspection shows that an item has damage not previously advised then you must inform the driver of this damage, detail it on the delivery notes and contact us on 0121 328 4445 for further instructions whilst the driver is still present. If this occurs outside of our business hours (see contact us page) then the item must be rejected by the customer and returned with the driver.

For Brand New Boxed Items: If your inspection shows that there is damage to the outer packaging or to the item itself, then this must be noted on the driver’s paperwork and the item must be rejected and returned with the driver.

Is payment through your site secure?
At Kingdom Appliances we take security very seriously and treat the safety of our customers credit card details with the utmost importance.

All payments are processed through 'Realex Payments' the leading European payment service provider, whose secure systems are certified by both Visa and MasterCard.

The Web browser will go into 'secure mode' as soon as you click into the secure payment section. Being in 'secure mode' means that all of your details are encrypted to keep them secure. As an additional security measure, no credit card details are stored once your order has been processed.

What payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta, Maestro, Solo but not American Express. Please note we only accept payment by Credit Card if the card is registered in the UK or Ireland and we are delivering to the same UK or Irish address. There are no surcharge on payments made by credit card so no hidden costs here!

What about delivery over christmas period?
We endeavour to make as many deliveries before Christmas as possible.  If you are looking to purchase an item that you need before Christmas then PLEASE contact us by phone, before you place your order, to ensure this is feasible.

The latest order date for guaranteed delivery before Christmas is Friday 08/12/2011.
 
Please note we are closed from Christmas day and re-open as normal on 03/01/2012.  Any orders placed between these dates will not be processed/delivered until the new year.

What if I cancel my order?

As a valued customer, you can cancel at any time preceding despatch of your goods. A small charge may be payable if the cancellation request is received after we have instructed our warehouse to ship your order. (This will be due to the shipping company already having loaded your item onto their vehicle and a delivery job being raised.)
