What to consider when choosing a coffee machine
How often you will be using it, features and budget|
Cup-warmers - It may not sound important, but a small cup of coffee can go cold very quickly. If you drink alot of espresso you may want to consider a machine with this feature.
Frothing Wands - To produce that lovely thick, frothy milk you'll need a machine with a steam frothing wand, or dedicated frothing chamber. Alternatively, invest in one of our manual frothing jugs or an electric frother.
Double Boilers - Means your cappuccino can be made almost instantly as one boiler will be used for making the coffee and the other for steaming your milk.
Special Functions - Some machines have keep-warm facilities, low-water indicators and automatic timers etc. Whilst you pay more for these functions, they can make the machines more useful and easier-to-use, so do consider investing.
The Look - Remember - this is a relatively large piece of equipment which will live on your worktop, not in a cupboard. Choose one which will compliment your kitchen style and colour scheme.
